It includes assessing risks and applying risk management strategies according to compliance and workplace requirements.
- It supports the induction procedure for specialist demolition workers before beginning work on site.
- Important note: Starting March 1, 2025, this Unit of Competency has become mandatory in NSW for all workers doing licensed demolition work.
- How Long: Up to 6 hours attendance for practical training and assessment at our training facility.
- Outcome: Statement of Attainment for CPCCDE3016 Identify hazards on demolition sites and apply risk management strategies.
- Pre-Course Requirement:Before taking this course, students must first complete CPCCWHS2001 Apply WHS requirements, policies, and procedures in the construction industry. You will be required to provide evidence of your Competence (i.e. Statement of Attainment or USI Transcript). If you don’t hold this unit, you can apply to complete this unit as part of our combo course offering.
